Other: Merle really doesn't remember much of her past. The only things she can remember are her parents persistently making her wear a hat on her head (no doubt because of the obnoxiously long ears she bore). She knew that, outside of her family, only one person knew of her ears--her girlfriend of nearly three years, a girl named Miki. Merle was truly in love, and was eager to learn Miki's native language, Japanese. However, the rest of her memories are a blur, but she does think she remembers seeing Miki pay her parents one evening before she was whacked over the head and didn't wake up until she realized just what had happened. She was no longer in her home, with her family, or Miki. She was alone in a world she barely knew, with only her knowledge of Japanese telling her just where she was.
She was being auctioned off to the highest bidder, it seemed.
Merle's a strange girl when it comes to habits. She doesn't like doing things that normal girls would like, such as shopping or chasing boys. She really just enjoys sitting back reading, playing with dogs as she did back home, or, as she did when she was a free girl in England, just let herself be held and cuddled by those she cared about.
From what she has seen, she's actually on the uncommon side in terms of kemono. She had seen many other slaves that were cats, and then maybe one or two dogs, but so far, she is the only rabbit she has seen. She likes to imagine that she's unique and there isn't another in the world with her ears.[/sub]
