He doesn't recall ever learning the steps, but he does dimly remember seeing it performed (by his parents, one presumes). The old priest believed he was a child of Tsukuyomi, a claim that he finds embarrassing. The dance is just something he does. He follows strict taboos regarding blood and death, and will obstinately adhere to them unless there's no other alternative. Apart from that, he is very obedient and strives to please his owner.
