There are very few people Matthias would class as a friend. In his line of work he has to be cautious and, to be quite frank, his ego tends to get in the way of friendship. Still, if you are one of the lucky few he is a good ally and will always be there for you in your time of need.

Matthias doesn't really understand the concept of love. He's had relationships, yes, but usually of convenience. Their are probably a lot of jilted past "lovers" out there, but will anyone ever find their way into his heart?

What can I say? Matthias is easy to hate. His job, his attitude and the way he treats pretty much everyone around him this arrogant guy will be hated by many in numerous ways.

Family
Matthias does have family, but little is known of it. The only family member he sees regularly is his 6-year-old daughter and she is under protection at all times. Still there could be others out there, long forgotten.

Slaves[/u]
Matthias started catching and selling on slaves and now, a rich man and gang leader, he frequents the auctions. Nothing has caught his eye yet, and he has never had a slave, but surely one will soon. Slaves of Matthias should be aware of his sadistic side and being a masochist is always a bonus.

Seeing as how Matthias captures and sells slaves for a living, and Andrew's on a quest to end slavery. Honestly, Matthias will very likely be one of the targets he goes after, to get one more slaver out of the way. And Matthias has a daughter, right? ...He'd probably kidnap her and use her as bait. It wouldn't happen for quite some time, but just sayin' that he'd go there. Or maybe the tabled turn on him and Andrew ends up getting caught? I dunno.

That sounds fun. I can certainly see these two circling each other a little. Matthias hears of the ones taking out slavers and wants to catch them, Andrew knows of Matthias being a slaver and the pair are after each other until it comes to a final show-down. Oh, the possibilities for drama here.

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] SATSUKI & LANE well if it isn't the big boss man himself satsuki wants to be in the band gang! satsuki likes nothing better than torturing people and exerting his authority, he’s not exactly a model citizen to begin with so why not throw some criminal activity into the mix? i understand that lane probably doesn’t have any friends and satsuki – though has friends doesn’t care for any – would be more on the lines of a wary associate/underling. it’s hard to trust a guy who willingly feeds information from the Japanese judicial branches to you. satsuki will probably pester lane for jobs, company, entertainment of various degrees, etcetera. he'd probably annoy the crap out of him but he’s useful hopefully so lane won’t see the need to kill him too quickly. after all, he's just looking for a reason to cut people. made by synchronicity

Yay for gang members <3 Matt is pretty wary of most and Satsuki would be included but in time Matt may begin to trust him a little more, though not completely. I think these two could be quite funny together, actually
