friends... does she have any??? more then likely Orion will have several that could call themselves her friends, but more then likely, to her, they will be just acquaintances. you could always try of course, as long as the charrie can get through or take her odd personality. remember, it's not that she's hard to be friends with, that's easy, it the getting her to acknowledge you as her friend that is the hard part. And that person who does that will probably have the honor of being her bestest buddy ever. either way i'm sure that she'll have a couple friends. bring 'em on!
❧ lovers
ahh the most popularly idiotic thing to my Orion. lovers, as in past? definitely not. present? perhaps, but it would most obviously be a challenge for her or anyone. she is androphobic, fear of men. it isn't extreme, but it does make her uncomfortable. she is also pansexual so she doesn't have a 'type' or a gender preference, that doesn't mean it will be easier for women to get close to her.... it would typically be very hard for her to have someone that close to her, it either ways. she just isn't like that, but if you want to have a go then by all means, try for it. also, she has a slight brother complex, so be careful with that and trod lightly.
❧ enemies
enemies.... yeah she's bound to have a few. hopefully more like the rivalry kind and not the i'm gonna tear your guts out an eat 'em for breakfast kind. she tends to annoy people with her boringness and gluttony so i wouldn't be very shocked to know if someone hated her for those reasons, or for her aversion to guys. some people may feel that she's a bit stuck up too, who knows. and also she isn't really the slaving kind, more of a rescuer so any slaves would pretty much be spoiled rotten. that'll probably gain her more enemies. i'm sure that there'll be plenty of these, so have at 'em.

Needless to say, Merle will be pretty much in Orion's debt for the rest of forever (even if Orion says she isn't). She's eternally grateful for Orion rescuing her from the auction, and that will definitely show. She'll be the best servant (or friend, or confidant, or whatever Orion wishes her to be) that she can possibly be.
Not to mention I can probably see Merle possibly developing some kind of crush on her. I dunno, she'd probably idealize Orion as her "knight in shining armor" and probably end up falling for her, so that'll definitely be there, even if it's just a one-sided thing on her end.
