While he's never really had a whole lot of difficulty making friends, it's keeping them that's the problem. First impressions are usually good, it's second and third impressions that give him some trouble, as by then his full-of-himself attitude tends to show through. If one can get past his arrogance and initial reaction to people of acting like he's better than them, and aren't too afraid to wind up getting into trouble with him, chances are they'll find out he can be a positive influence when he wants to be, and he's quick to help out anyone who can tolerate him. At this point he's getting pretty familiar with the streets, and he's more than happy to help someone else hide out.

Sometimes a guy needs a little company out on the streets. While he has a couple traveling companions currently, he isn't opposed to occasionally stopping in to visit with other people that attract his attention. He is, however, entirely unfamiliar with the concept of "love" so one can't expect that from him, and monogamy is a foreign concept and a word he just doesn't understand at all. He's happy to offer affection and occasional attention, though! Especially if it means he and his friends might have a place to sleep once in a while.
(As a side note, he's !closeted! bisexual. He has a preference for men but is uncomfortable showing it openly, though he'll flirt and joke with them more often than women. He does like the ladies, though, too.)

It's not hard to get on his bad side, but difficult for him to consider you an enemy. Probably not near as hard to think of him that way, though, given his blatant dislike of willing slaves, inability to cope with authority, and tendency to both fight anyone he dislikes, and escape from situations he deems unacceptable. Probably losing at least a couple people quite a bit of money in the process, and causing an awful lot of trouble for everyone else involved.

Akatsuki and Boston
Akat's an uncaptured kemono, also. He's pretty tolerant; but it takes a good bit of tolerance to deal with him. He's well-intentioned, and not 'mean'; but he's quite blunt. He's the type to tell someone there plan is idiotic, will fail, and offer advice to improve it. He does like meeting other kemono, particularly uncaptured, though; and would probably try to befriend Boston.

Chris and Boston
Chris lives in Chrisland. This meaning.. he has an impossibly high ego and is eternally happy. Unless there's an injured animal involved. He adores kemono, becausethey'recute! He'd welcome them to stay in his mansion; no strings attached if they needed to. So, he might make a good friend of sorts.

Well.. not.. no strings.. he MIGHT break out some pretty bows, but if you tell him 'no, bad Chris, sit! Stay!' I'm sure he'll stop trying.. eventually?

Princess and Boston
Princess would probably be an enemy if they met. He'd want to capture him for Azazel. Capture probably meaning.. lure him there somehow. ..Or try to seduce him. Even though Azazel may disapprove. ..Princess, he loves the men~ Even the kemono ones!

Isabella and Boston
Isa might work as a friend -or- enemy depending.. she's charismatic and disarming to meet; but ice cold once you really get to know her. If she takes a liking to someone, she's decent; and wouldn't try to capture him/his friends. -Might- offer a place to stay. If she's in a nice mood. It really depends. She can be potentially murderous or friendly.
